I needed new laundry baskets and was eyeing up these stacking ones at The Container Store. I received a 15% off coupon in my email and decided to buy four of them a few weeks ago. They had great reviews and though we only really need two, I thought might as well get a couple more for when we do have a baby.
Now I am wishing I had gotten a few more because they are amazing! They are a bit smaller than a normal laundry basket, but not by much, and won't matter if you do one basket per person. They are also a lot more durable than I thought they would be, great quality at only $10 a basket!
Best of all, they stack! I can keep all the baskets in one spot. There is a bit of space left open when stacked so you can shove stuff in a lower basket. My husband has the top basket because he is lazy and just tosses things in, I have the basket below his and have not had trouble fitting anything in the small gap available despite some reviews claiming it is not big enough, but in their defense, I do have small hands! We ended up using the third basket for towels, so I do not have to separate them from the clothes!

UPDATE
It has been two years since I wrote this review and we ended up buying four more of these laundry baskets after our daughter was born in 2016! One laundry basket was not enough for the baby as we chose to cloth diaper, and somehow she manages to fill up three of them before I get around to doing laundry! Sometimes we have all of them in use as I am not very good at washing and folding on the same day. I definitely still recommend these and glad The Container Store still carries them!
